Arcep applies its data-driven regulation approach to measuring the quality of fixed internet access and calling services

Today Arcep is publishing Decision No. 2017-0126 of 31 January 2017, which has been approved by the Minister responsible for Electronic communications and postal affairs In particular, the decision provides for an end to the system used to measure the quality of fixed internet access and calling services within a controlled environment. The aim in doing so is to concentrate Arcep's resources on crowdsourcing solutions that are better able to reflect users' actual experience. This decision is part of Arcep's data-driven approach to regulation.
