Consultation of 29 June 2021 on the fees for exclusive bands for radio-relay links

Within the exclusive bands assigned by the BIPT, operators may set up radio-relay links without prior authorisation from the BIPT. Currently, the fee is payable per radio-relay link. To encourage a more efficient use of the spectrum by the operators, it is proposed to implement a fee mechanism per MHz for the exclusive bands. Deadline: until 30 July 2021.

In de exclusieve banden die het BIPT aan de operatoren heeft toegewezen kunnen zij verbindingen in dienst stellen zonder daarvoor een voorafgaande vergunning te hebben gekregen van het BIPT. Momenteel is het recht verschuldigd per verbinding. Om de operatoren aan te zetten tot een efficiënter spectrumgebruik, wordt voorgesteld om voor de exclusieve banden een systeem van rechten per MHz in te voeren. Antwoordtermijn : Tot 30 juli 2021
