Consultation on the 2021–2026 Spectrum Release Plan

The regulatory authority, together with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Regions and Tourism (BMLRT), is planning to prepare and publish a new Spectrum Release Plan, to cover the coming five years. The new plan is intended to ensure planning security for all sector stakeholders. In carrying out the current consultation (non binding translation), the BMLRT and RTR wish to collect helpful suggestions and discuss possible approaches. This consultation will place a special focus on the 26 GHz band. Statements (in German or English) should be emailed by 9 August 2021 to tkfreq@rtr.at.

Die Regulierungsbehörde plant zusammen mit dem Bundesministerium für Landwirtschaft, Regionen und Tourismus (BMLRT) einen neuen Spectrum Release Plan für die nächsten fünf Jahre zu erarbeiten und zu veröffentlichen. Damit soll Planungssicherheit für alle Stakeholder geschaffen werden. Mit der vorliegenden Konsultation möchten BMLRT und RTR-GmbH wichtige Anregungen sammeln und mögliche Ansätze diskutieren.
