SINGLE INFORMATION POINT: INFORMATION NOTICE

The Broadband Cost Reduction Regulations (“the Regulations”)1 became effective on 20 July 2016 and implements Directive 2014/61/EU2 in Ireland. Regulation 10(1) of the Regulations sets out the functions of the Commission for Communications Regulation (“ComReg”). These include the function of acting as a Single Information Point (“SIP”) as set out at Regulation 10(1)(c) of the Regulations.
